Hi, I’m James, owner of Yellowtail Projects.

For me building has been a lifelong passion, from constructing treehouses as a kid to creating quality homes and retreat spaces today. I combine decades of hands-on building experience with a background in the visual arts, bringing both craftsmanship and an eye for design to every project.

Whether it’s a renovation, outdoor living area, custom timber work, or a unique one-off build, my focus is on creating spaces that are thoughtful, well-crafted, and built to last.
